Spangler Candy Company announced that Ryan Miller, Director of Supply Chain, will join the company’s Management Committee.
“Spangler Candy Company has more than 700 suppliers in 37 states, and we ship our products to retailers throughout the United States and across the world. Supply chain management is critical to our success as a manufacturer,” said Kirk Vashaw, Chairman and CEO.
Spangler President and CFO Bill Martin added, “Ryan’s extensive education and experience in managing the supply chain and logistics at Spangler for the past 10 years will be a huge asset for our leadership discussions.”
A lifelong resident of Bryan and a graduate of Bryan High School, Ryan received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Hillsdale College in 2008, and the same year joined Spangler Candy Company as Production Standards Analyst.
In 2014, he received his master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. He was promoted to Manager of Supply Chain/Logistics at Spangler in 2016, and to Director-Supply Chain in 2017.
Ryan and his wife, Andrea, have two sons, Miles and Riley.
