BRYAN, OH April 7, 2017 - Kirk Vashaw, Spangler Candy Company’s Chief Executive Officer, has been nominated for the 2017 Kettle Award, the highest recognition an individual working in the U.S. candy industry can attain.
Established in 1946, the Kettle Award goes to the individual who has contributed to various aspects of the candy industry including government relations, quality, sales & marketing, plant improvement, research & product development, and education, financial, administrative and environmental issues.
