The company will be accepting resumes/applications for the Support Staff position of Marketing Assistant.
This position will manage and track consumer contacts through social media, email, postal mail, telephone and personal contacts. Respond to consumer questions, requests, and complaints and/or refer to appropriate departments; and interact with consumers through social media. Manage and create social media communication in alignment with marketing objectives. This position will represent company beliefs, values, strategies, and products to the public, and serve as a liaison between consumers and various departments, develop and maintain marketing and sales collateral, take and maintain product photos. Maintain records, prepare and analyze required reports, and perform a variety of administrative tasks.
In order to be considered for this position, the applicant must possess the following qualifications: exceptional communication, interpersonal and creative skills, in environments including written, verbal, and face-to-face. Minimum of Associates Degree or two years relevant experience. Adept in Microsoft Office Outlook Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator, preferred. Solid understanding of and experience with social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Ability to read, write, follow instructions, record, analyze, and report information and draw conclusions from visual and/or physical inspection of assigned tasks. Knowledge of general office procedures.
Repairs, rebuilds and troubleshoots process equipment on the production floor and throughout the plant.
Determines repair requirements, disassembles equipment, makes repairs by replacing or fabricating needed parts or mechanisms and reassembles equipment to restore proper operation.
Services auxiliary equipment related to process machinery such as conveyors, air operated devices, etc., that are synchronized with the process. Fits, adjusts and properly times these devices.
Machines simple parts, solders, brazes and welds; installs piping, tubing and sheet metal fabricating as needed.
Requisition parts as needed.
Ensures all safety devices are operating properly.
Follows all Spangler Candy safety/sanitation policies and procedures.
Supports the organization’s commitment to ensure that our food safety and quality plans conform to all regulatory requirements and with food quality and safety requirements of our customers and report any problems or potential problems observed concerning food safety and quality to Supervision immediately
