Repairs, rebuilds and troubleshoots process equipment on the production floor and throughout the plant. Responsible for maintenance and adjustment of equipment to provide a quality product at an efficient, productive level. Works closely with the production process striving to improve quality and efficiency.
Spangler Candy Company, a world-class candy manufacturer is currently seeking an Associate Product Development Manager to fill a full-time salaried position in the Marketing Department.
The Associate Product Development Manager has the primary responsibility for coordinating development and product changes with Sales, Marketing, QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, Shipping, Purchasing, and outside vendors.
Typical responsibilities of the Associate Product Development Manager include:

Primary responsibilities include: posting journal vouchers, accounts payable vouchers, entering vouchers into register, processing weekly check run and electronic payments via ACH and wire transfer, reconciling bank statements and posting subsidiary ledgers controlled by general ledgers. Additional responsibilities include maintaining vendor master file and state sales & use tax files and preparing quarterly returns.
In order to be considered for this position, the applicant must possess the following qualifications: perform mathematical calculations, record /report information and draw conclusions from visual and/or physical research of documentation, good interpersonal skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and proficient intermediate level computer skills. Minimum of High School education with knowledge of general accounting and general office procedures is required. Ideal candidate will have the ability to excel in a high transaction volume environment.
