Candy Packers - Full Time: Spangler Candy Company, a world class candy manufacturer, is currently seeking candy packers to fill full-time positions on 3rd shift. Description/Job Summary: Sorts, wraps, inspects, and packages finished product for shipping or warehousing. Cleans and maintains plant and related facilities.

Mechanical Engineer: Typical responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer include: responsible for identifying and mitigating utility issues, assuring reliable operation and managing data for related utility systems: steam, chiller water, process water, natural gas and wastewater. Create heating and cooling systems and their controls, also for compressed air systems and boiler & steam systems. Calculate heating and cooling needs and ventilation requirements. Assist in the coordination of contractors. Assist with compliance of building codes and health and safety standards. Proactively identify and provide technical recommendations for improvement initiatives.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate the following:
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· Prefer 2-4 years of experience in HVAC and utilities. Prefer knowledge with steam systems.
· Knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing, water utilities, distribution systems and controls including maintenance and troubleshooting.
· Knowledge of building codes, construction principles and relevant regulations.
· Strong analytical, critical thinking, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
· Successful candidate will possess a positive, supportive and team oriented attitude.
· Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office package, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
