Candy Packer:  Spangler Candy, a world class candy manufacturer, is currently seeking Candy Packers to fill full-time positions on 3rd shift. Starting wages $15.40-$18.53 plus 0.35 shift premium. Pay increase after probationary period, and pay increase at one year employment. 

2nd Shift Technical Assistant - QA:  Primary Responsibilities: Inspecting first piece sampling of products following standard procedures and allowable variation prescribed. Devices ordinary gauging/measuring set ups or makes adaptations to inspection equipment/fixtures. Stops production or notifies supervisor for excessive defects.

Additional Laboratory Responsibilities: Performing various ingredient qualitative and quantitative analysis using standard tests and equipment, conducting various packaging and competitive product analysis, interprets and records results.

Position Qualifications: the ability to read, write, follow instructions, perform mathematical calculations, record /report information and draw conclusions from visual and/or physical inspection of assigned tasks. Must have good vision, color vision, hearing and speaking ability and finger dexterity. Also the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, reach, pull, use personal computer, lift and/or carry up to approximately 15 lbs. Minimum of High School education with knowledge of general production quality procedures.

2nd and 3rd Shift Process Mechanics: Process Mechanic responsibilities include:  Repairs, rebuilds and troubleshoots process equipment on the production floor and throughout the plant.  Responsible for maintenance and adjustment of equipment to provide a quality product at an efficient, productive level.  Works closely with the production process striving to improve quality and efficiency. Wage: $23.50 plus shift premium and additional incentive bonus opportunities.
