Spangler Candy Donates Candy Canes to Extreme Makeover Home Edition
Press Release: Bryan, OH December 2011: Spangler Candy Company is honored to have our candy canes be part of one of television's most heartwarming shows, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
On Friday, December 16th, 2011, viewers can watch the special 2 hour holiday episode (8 to 10pm ET on ABC) and look for Spangler candy canes to be featured in the Christmas parade, as decorations in the park, and as holiday inspiration for Art World (where each designer works on his or her special project).
Throughout the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition nine-year series, deserving families in need of a newly rebuilt or refurbished home are treated to the door knock that changes their lives. The children of the families have always been an integral part of the popular show, and this season they are even more. Spangler Candy is proud to participate in the show, and help celebrate the season of giving by sharing one of America's most iconic Christmas candies.
Spangler Candy makes 2.7 million candy canes a day from traditional peppermint candy canes to branded Jelly Belly, Sour Punch, Smarties and Dum Dums candy canes.
