Spangler Candy Congratulates Hall of Fame Honoree Bonnie Burgbacher inducted into the NCSA Candy Hall of Fame

Bonnie J. Burgbacher, Spangler Candy Administrative Assistant, was inducted into the NCSA (National Confectionery Sales Association) Hall of Fame at their 100th Anniversary Celebration at Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, on May 1. This honor recognizes an individual who has contributed a minimum of 25 years in the confectionery industry with involvement in all activities pursuant to the industry, including trade shows, sales meetings, broker involvement, advertising, etc., within the company, and community involvement.
The Hall of Fame recognizes members' notable accomplishments as they seek to develop the growth of confectionery products in a professional and ethical manner to manufacturers, customers, members, and the community.
Burgbacher, a 36 year Spangler Candy Company employee, was Sales Secretary until 1981, when she was promoted to Sales Department Administrative Assistant.
Burgbacher resides in the Bryan area and is active in Bryan First Brethren Church, past Vice President & Board Member of ACS (American Cancer Society), and past President & Board Member of the Williams County Community Concert Association.
