Spangler Candy Announces New Sales Organizational Structure
PRESS RELEASE: Bryan, OH August 2011: Denny Gunter, Vice President of Sales, recently announced the organizing of the sales team around channels and key customers consistent with the company's strategy as a market-served organization. These changes will allow the Spangler sales team to become more specialized and to assist brokers in deepening the penetration and velocity of current and extended offerings with these targeted channels.
Spangler believes that this focus and transfer of responsibility and authority will further motivate and empower our sales team to achieve company growth plans. An outline of the changes is as follows:
Kevin Gallagher has been appointed to Channel Director with responsibility for C & T / Distributors, C-Store and Re-baggers effective immediately. Kevin moved to Bryan Ohio from Western Pennsylvania with his wife Barbara, his daughter Amanda and his son Patrick in 1998 to become the Key Account development manager for Spangler Candy Company. He held this position until his promotion to National Account Sales Director in 2001.
Jeff Devlin has been appointed to Channel Director with the responsibility for Grocery & Special Markets Retail effective immediately.
Danielle Pasquinzo has been appointed to Channel Director with responsibility for Drug, Dollar & Military effective November 1, 2011.
Glenn Hudspeath has been appointed to Channel Director Mass / Club effective immediately.
